Floyd Louisville, 40202. Dr. Elmer H. Schmidt 64, formerly of Louisville, died Tuesday in Naples, Fla. He was a retired optometrist a Navy veteran, and a former member of Louisville Optometric Association and Owl Creek Country Club.

Survivors: his wife, the former Ellen Kegley; two daughters, Susan Ei-sert of Atlanta and Kathy Emrich; a stepson, Scott Kegley of Crawfords-ville, two stepdaughters, Carol Kegley of Muncie, and Mary Ellen Howard of Middletown; Ohio; and 10 grandchildren. Odesster Parks Stanley, 65, of 442 S. Shelby St, died Wednesday at Humana Hospital-University of Louiville. She was a native of Montgomery, and a member of Jehovah's Witness Highlands Congregation. Survivors: two sons, Amos Holmes and Arthur Barnes; a daughter, Iola Fischer of Cincinnati; a brother, the Rev. Roosevelt Parks of Montgomery; a sister, Cora Mae Turner; 16 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.

Visitation after 6 p.m. Sunday. Robert W. Tanner, 81, formerly of Louisville, died Wednesday in Lake Como, Fla. He was native of Mannsville, a retired printer and former composing room foreman for the Courier-Journal Times former president of the Louisville Press Club, a member of First Presbyterian Church in Crescent City, and an Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors: a brother, Buck Austin of Dunnville; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. McKlnney-Brown Funeral Home In Liberty is in charge of arrangements. Nora Lee Rice, 83, Belmont died Friday at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. She was the former Nora Lee Brown and a native of Bullitt County. The Rev. Joe Allison, 90, died Friday at his home. He was a native of Columbia, a retired employee of Ford Motor a minister for the General Baptist Church, and a member of Victory Baptist Church and Fairdale Masonic Lodge 942. DERBY Thelma Rae Ewing, 83, died Friday at Lincoln Hills Nursing Home in Tell City. She was the former Thelma Rae York, a retired nurses' aide for Floyd Memorial Hospital.
