Curious Wills Are Described To I. V. Alumni A former student bequeathed Dartmouth College $10,000 many years ago and provided that it be "invested and reinvested." The only drawback was a further provision that "neither the principal nor interest is to be used for any purpose whatsoever." This was one of the curious wills and trusts described by Lawrence Wheeler, Blooming-ton, in a talk before 30 Indiana University alumni last night at the Seelbach Hotel. Wheeler is director of the Indiana University Foundation, which represents the alumni in the university's expansion program. Also at the Seelbach last night, Emory University alumni had a Charter Day dinner.

The Atlanta institution was chartered 113 years ago. Nine Louisville and two Hopkinsville, alumni attended. John Milton Campbell, chairman of the Louisville District Alumni Club, pointed out that the university's $600,000 campaign for a student-activities building- has almost been met, and construction will start soon.
