The blaze occurred 12 miles south of here, near Adol-phus. Officials said neighbors saw flames coming from the home of Mrs. Lucy Jane Miller about 10 a.m., but by the time they reached the scene, the building had collapsed. The cause of the fire was not determined. It later spread over brush on 35 surrounding acres.

Coroner Hubert R. Jones ruled Mrs. Miller's death accidental. Mrs. Miller was the aunt of Dr.

The neatly built wooden cross 7 feet tall with arms feet long was planted and set afire last night in the driveway of Rayburn's two-s colonial-style mansion. Rayburn is in Washington, but his brother, Tom, and a sister, Mrs. S. E. Bartley, were in the house.
