Owen Funeral Home- Jeffersontown Indiana PEACE, WILLIAM "BILL" ARTHUR 75, of Louisville, passed away May 22, 2012. LEWIS, BELINDA, 54, passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2012. She was a graduate of Holy Rosary Academy, a UPS employee and a catholic.

Belinda is survived by her husband, Robert "Donnie" Lewis; son, Justin Lewis; mother, Ann Sacheck; sisters, Latonia Boudreau and Theresa Rines; and three nieces. A memorial visitation will be held 5-8 p.m. Friday at Joseph E. Ratterman Son, 7336 Southside Drive. Cremation was chosen.

He was a Navy Veteran of the Korean War. MILBURN, DENNIS 59, passed away May 22, 2012. Survivors include his graduation, he worked briefly for General Electric in Erie, PA, before enlisting in the Navy, where he volunteered for submarine duty. While waiting for his next class at submarine school to start, he was assigned to a World War I submarine operation training on the Pacific side of the Panama Canal. After completing his training, Adrian was assigned to a submarine division operating out of Perth, Australia. His troop ship traveled more than 3,000 miles between San Francisco and Australia before he was assigned to the USS Hawkbill SS-366, where he conducted patrols in the Java Sea and the South China Sea. Following the war Adrian returned to Erie and married Mary Shindledecker, whom he had met previously in Erie.

Mary and Adrian moved to San Francisco, CA to finish out his commission in the Navy. Returning to Erie once again, he began working at GE in the refrigerator division. In 1954 he was transferred to Louisville's new Appliance Park. In 1960 he and his family transferred to Bogota, Columbia where he served as manager of engineering for the new appliance plant there. Returning back to Louisville four years later he was the liaison of GE plants manufacturing refrigerators outside the US.

Adrian retired from GE after 40 years service and began a new career as a consultant for non ozone-depleting refrigerants for organizations such as The World Bank and the US Environmental Agency. During his semi-retirement he and his wife Mary traveled to such places as Zimbabwe, Jordan, Korea, and Sri Lanka. In 1991 they moved to Florida. Adrian and Mary celebrated 60 years of marriage in 2005. Adrian is preceded in death by his wife, Mary E.

Rowan (2006). He is survived by his children, William C. Rowan (Leona), James S. Rowan (Sue), Steve C. Rowan (Tonya), Christopher L.

Rowan (Melanie) and Carolyn E. Rowan Bergethon (Stephen); 12 grandchildren; and soon to be four great-grandchildren. A memorial service is scheduled for Friday May 25, 2012 at 1 1 a.m. at Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitors are asked to enter and meet with the family at the Broadway entrance to proceed to the service location.

Donna was born on August 6, 1944 in Peoria, IL. Donna was a former employee of National City Bank.

Visitation: 6-9 p.m. Friday. PINE, LCDR GORDON FRANKLIN, IM -SB. 80, passed away peacefully May 18, 2012 in Louisville. He battled multiple myeloma for eight years and was treated at the Multiple Myeloma Institute in Little Rock, AR.

Gordon was born February 6, 1932 in Muscatine, IA, the son of Floyd and Ruth Stone Pine Catholic Church and St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 47 years, Charles Millay Jr. parents, Edward Thomas Siedlarz Sr. and Betty Ruth Robinson Siedlarz; two brothers, Edward and Raymond Siedlarz; and one grandson, Logan Millay.

Survivors include her three sons, Christopher (Alma), Edward (Kaori) and Jeffrey Millay (Sherry); five grandchildren, Karen Bennett (Tyler) and Gabriel, Skylar, Connor and Christian Millay; one sister, Mary Wasson (Steve); and many nieces and nephews. Her service will be at 1 1 a.m. Friday, May 25, 2012 at her church, 5431 Johnsontown Road, with burial in Bethany Memorial Cemetery. He was a flag pilot for several Admirals in Brazil and England. Gordon was a positive person with a curious mind and a keen sense of humor. He was very good at planning and carrying that plan through and he was an excellent handyman who could fix almost anything. Gordon retired from the Navy in 1973 changing Navy careers to teach Navy Junior ROTC at Stuart, Valley, and Butler High Schools for 16 years. He proudly wore the Navy uniform for 40 years.

He received his BA degree in Economics from the University of Maryland and a Masters in Counseling from Spalding University in Louisville. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his devoted wife, Pauline Smith Pine and three children: Brenda Hatfield (Mark), and David Pine of Louisville, and Carla Austin (Edward) of Atlanta, GA; Grandchildren, Cortney Austin Morris (Mike), Chloe and Logan, Atlanta, GA; Rebecca Austin Stumpf (Mathew) of Calabasa, CA; Laura and Kath-ryn Austin of Atlanta, GA; Jacob and Jessica Hatfield of Louisville; Brothers, David F. Pine (Barbara) of Gig Harbor, WA; David Bancroft (Susie) of Tucson, AZ; two nieces and three nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and by one infant sister.
