BEEDY, JAMES 47, passed away Monday, August 18, 2014, surrounded by family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Virda S. Preston and his stepfather, Billie J.

Preston. Left to cherish his memory are daughters, Jessica Grider (Jamey), Tabbatha, Amanda, and Macey Beedy, brother, Russ Beedy (Ellen) and sister, Beth Beedy; seven grandchildren; a very special niece, Cassie Kelsey; and many loving friends. Jamie requested that his body be donated to the University of Louisville Medical Center. Memorial gifts in his memory may be made to Hosparus of Louisville. BLEVINS THERESA LYNN, 51, of Lawrenceburg, KY passed away in Lexington on August 18, 2014.

Theresa was born on November 16, 1962 to Charles Ray Warner and the late Bonnie Emmett Warner. Theresa was the most wonderful wife and the best mother to her children. She volunteered and was very involved with her schooling, including helping with the band, assisting the teachers, and chaperoning on eld trips. Theresa is preceded in death by her mother, Bonnie Warner. She is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Jerry Wayne Blevins; children, Leslie Erin Blevins, Gabriel Layton Charles Blevins, Kaitlin Michelle Blevins; father, Charles Warner; sisters, Donna Messex (Louis) and Deborah Bowman (Mark); and a grandchild on the way.

A funeral service to honor the life of Theresa will be at 2pm on Friday, August 22, 2014 a Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Highway, Louisville, KY 40213, with interment to follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3-8pm on Thursday and from 11am until time of service on Friday. and Gloria Bowman; daughter, Kennedy Bowman; girlfriend, Kylia Sullivan; brothers, Ronald, Jr. (Tina) and Jeff (Amy); and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She owned and ran Art and Crafts Jeffersontown; worked as activity director at the Masonic Homes of Kentucky for 17 years, volunteered seven years at the Jeffersontown Historical Museum and was a member of Hopewell Presbyterian Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband 55 years, William E. Cummings. She leaves behind daughters, Elizabeth Carter (Chuck), Allison Cummings, Connie Martin (Barry), Eva Zarley (Vic) and Sue Lange (Roger). She is also survived by brother Tom Kurtz (Joyce); 14 grandchildren; and four great- grandchildren. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m.

DENNEY, JOHN 91, born in Barren County, a World War II Veteran who received the Purple Heart, died at the VA Hospital in Louisville KY August 15, 2014. He was predeceased by his siblings and is survived by several nieces and nephews including Mary E. Fox who was his advocate and assisted with his care during his nal years. The family would like to say a special thanks to Lori Paris: VA Foster Care; his Sunday School class at Walnut St.

Baptist Church, the Encouragers; Nasha Howard, his caregiver; Ho- sparus Unit, 5 North; and the VA Hospital for their compassion and outstanding care. DITTMER, DORIS, 93, passed away Monday, August 18,2014 surrounded by her loving family. She was a longtime member of St Lutheran Church and of St Ministry. Doris was an avid bridge playe as well as a long term volunteer for the Kentucky Center For the Arts. Doris enjoyed square dancing and traveling with her dear husband of 65 years, Edward Dittmer. Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Dittmer.

She is survived by her daughter and son, Barbara House (Mark)and David Dittmer (Sandra); grandchildren, Stephen House, Stephanie Mattingly, David Dittmer Sarah House and Melissa Dittmer; as well as nine great-grandchildren. Her funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday a St. Lutheran Church, 901 Breckenridge Lane, with entombment to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation is to be held from 4-8 p.m.

He was a retired civil enginee with the Army Corp of Engineers, an Army veteran of the Vietnam War, a membe of Keneseth Israel Congregation, a past president and Sunday School teacher a Congregation Anshei Sfard and a former treasurer of the Vaad HaKashruth.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Solomon and Sarah Schlarenco Frankel. He is survived by his wife, Anita Zober Frankel; his children, Beth Lynn Haines (Richard), Mark D. Frankel, Gary S. Zachariah (Melissa) of W. Hartford, CT, Howard J.

Zachariah(Nikki) of Hope, IN and Allan J. Zachariah of Atlanta, GA; his sister, Harriet Frankel Firkins; his brother, Larry D. Frankel; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandson. The family would like to thank two special caregivers, Donna Adams and Barbara Mac for their wonderful care. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m.

HARDING HORACE III, 90, of Louisville, passed away, Augus 11, 2014. He was a U.S. Army World War II veteran, retired as a postal clerk after 33 years and a member St. Matthews United Methodist Church. Horace is survived by his wife of 55 years, Barbara Klippel Harding; son, John A.

Harding; daughters, Sarah M. Harding and Victoria Eldred(George) and granddaughter, Nina Harding. His memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 23, 2014 at St. Matthews United Methodist Church, 319 Browns Lane with burial in Cave Hill Cemetery.

Boots was a former cosmetologist in Knoxville, TN. Boots love for children led her to an assistant teaching position at The Temple Early Childhood Education Center.

Her favorite class was the 18 month to Boots was beloved by he co-workers and especially the children who returned to visit her year after year. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Kimberly Bolling of Louisville, a host of extended family, Godchildren, co-workers and many, many friends, as Boots never knew a stranger.
