Doings in Mhiilenedkg. It appears that some of the people of Muhlenburg county have lately been engaged in "lynching" and "regula-lating" "regula-lating" "regula-lating" a party ol depredators. A man named Commodore Curtis was whipped and compelled toleave the comity; another named Samuel Levi Levi was tried before an examining court for burning burning the hcuse of Mr. Benj. Shaver, but the evidence evidence being adjudged insufficient to convict, he was acquired. A public meeting was thereupon thereupon held, over which a minister of tht gospel presided, another preacher acting as secretary, and it was decided by a vote of about fifty to ten or twelve that he should leave the county. Whether he left or not is not stated. From all wo can learn, the people of the lower lower end of that county have been greatly annoyed annoyed by a gang of villains. Hopkinsville Whig.
