ORLEANS Merlin "Lafayette" "Lafayette" Kellams, 78, died Wednesday Wednesday at his home. He was a native of Gibson County, County, a retired railroad worker and farmer and an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors; his wife, the former Alice Ross; a son, Kermit N. Kellams Kellams of San Diego; a daughter, Bonnie Bonnie Kay of Tampa, Fla.; three brothers, brothers, Dean R. Kellams of Florida, Bill and Jack Kellams, both of Bedford; a sister, Faith Bircham of Bloom-field; Bloom-field; Bloom-field; and seven grandchildren.
