Former W.P.B. Chief, Curtis E. Calder, Dies New York, April 3 Curtis E. Calder, chairman of the executive executive committee of the Electric Bond & Share Company and former former head of the War Production Board under the late President Franklin D. Roosevelt, died yesterday yesterday at the age of 64. An active Democrat, Calder headed the W.P.B. in 1943 and 1944. He also was offered the post of secretary of the Army in 1945 by former President Truman Truman but declined because of business commitments.
